Is going to University!

Bloody 'ell, I've got into University! Lord knows how I did it; I'm sure the Uni was very sympathetic and felt so, so sorry for me. Well... that's what I thought until I got the results. Turns out I got what they wanted in three A2-levels (they wanted 300 points if you take it into the points-system.) so no worries at all.
Anyway if I must be 100% honest, I wasn't at all nervous or scared or excited or pissing myself the day, or days, before. In fact midnight last night:
Dad: "Emily, I think you should go to bed now. You get your results tomorrow"
Me: *is currently playing the Sims* "Uh? Oh. OK." *stays up another hour*
In fact I was even preparing myself for dire failure. I checked the clearing places for alternatives, got all the letters and contact details ready, and a full box of 'extra-strength' paracetamol for extreme emergencies (just kidding... I've always had it by my side... XP)
So what am I doing and where am I going? Oh, my little stalkers. Here is the confirmation on UCAS:
Congratulations! Your place at University of Surrey (S85) to study Law (3 or 4 years) (M100) has been confirmed.
And would you believe I am the first in my family to get to go to their first choice?
My father woke me up very early (...7 o'clock) so I could check this out. I wish he had let me wait until it was 'morning' because I couldn't get back to sleep (insomnia is a condition with which I am very familiar).
Besides, it was rather hinted that the Uni wanted me. I'm technically disabled (maybe they wanted to fulfill their disability-acceptance aims), so they had booked me to come a week earlier than when term started.
Another thing, a funny turn-out; my English editorial writing got 35 marks (out of 90), or a U. So I did it again and got 81, or an A. Erm. What an improvement? (And before you say 'what an idiot, a U??' I would like to make a note that we all in our year did badly in that exam. So it wasn't just me. A sort of mutual bad-ness. I blame the examiner, because I didn't do a single thing differently in terms of technique.)
So anyway, Surrey/Guildford, here I come! Watch out for le Bob!
